- Netaca provides WCE with a flexible, interactive and secure online learning environment called "Learn Online". WCE staff and students now have a flexible education solution where many traditional classroom activities are carried out either from work or from home. WCE students participate in discussion, download readings and assessment information, collaborate with other students, and chat with fellow students and their lecturer "online".
- WCE carries out support and professional training for teachers and administrators. Traditionally, WCE has had collaboration and communication difficulties with the geographical scattered teachers and administrators. Netaca allows the participants to access centrally held resources, including professional development materials, and to maintain ongoing communication with fellow teachers and WCE staff members. Teachers in rural communities disadvantaged by geographical isolation have greatly improved access to the WCE online community support and resources.
- Increasingly education requires effective use of communications technology. The ability to use these technologies to achieve organisational goals in the complex cross-cultural environment is at the forefront of educational research and development. WCE is proactively working with WebSol on the ongoing customisation of "Learn Online" to augment existing WCE courses and implement new distance learning courses while retaining essential teaching strategies and pedagogical goals.
- Netaca has enabled Wellington College of Education to improve existing mechanisms and to offer a new level of service to the teaching community. WebSol continues to work closely with the WCE to provide customisation, training and support for "Learn Online".
